Both expert sources, like the NKBA 2025 Kitchen Trend report, and crowd-sourced opinions like the Houzz 2025 Kitchen Trend Study, agree that diversity in kitchen designs and materials is higher going into 2026 than it has been for several years. The minimalist white quartz kitchens that typified the post-covid house-flipping boom have quickly become undesirable, and the pendulum swing to exciting and differentiated designs can be seen in the huge variety of materials now being considered.
Natural wood cabinetry, pops of color in paint or tile, increased diversity in metals, and alternative surfaces are now the highlights of designs in magazines. Managing light tastefully is also clearly an emphasis, as bright and cool ceiling lights overwhelm spaces that already overutilized white paints and manmade stone.
For Andrew Pearson, these consumer trends are a great opportunity. The advantages of glass countertops – infinitely customizable color, and integrated lighting, are well suited to integrating with room designs that want to emphasize beautiful cabinets and tile. Just send us a swatch of paint, fabric, wallpaper, or tile to match.
For the adventurous, our wide gamut of textures, finishes, thicknesses, and tints offers an opportunity to celebrate the material qualities of glass and design around it. For inspiration, take a look at our blue-tinted Fuzion or textured metallics on our Fuzion Page.
We’re looking forward to participating in this exciting time in Kitchen and Bathroom design at KBIS 2026 in Orlando!
